AIR SAMPLING ANALYSIS

Pic15 crop.png

Air sampling is a method used to find out what airborne contaminants are present in the environment. Contamination observed in the air in a manufacturing/production environment may indicate increased risk to product and should be carefully evaluated. For air analysis, it is recommended that that testing happen in areas that have high production throughout and/or may be critical to ensuring the sanitary nature of the test products after laundering. Included in the ToolKit is a color-coded air sampler, Petri Dishes, Parafilm, masking tape, disposable or reusable cooler, ice or cold pack, and a sterile bag. Analysis will provide Total Aerobic Microbial Counts (TAMC).
