Water sampling enables the laundry to identify specific areas of concern such as points of suspected contamination, or to determine if a particular problem has been corrected. With this procedure, it is recommended that the laundry test the water source in three locations:

  • Source water, or where it enters the facility, i.e. natural surface waters like rivers and reservoirs, deep-bed well waters, sea waters, or a combination of these

  • At the beginning of the tunnel or washer/extractor

  • Effluent water (under the laundry press or discharge hose).

Included for water analysis are sampling bottles, sterile bag, disposable or reusable cooler and ice or cold packs.
